Upon submitting the cremation notification form, you have fulfilled your requirements for this office. This confirmation will serve as your approval to proceed in accordance with Alabama law. No additional communication for approval will be transmitted. Notification of the Coroner prior to cremation of a person who has died or where the injury leading to death occurred within Madison County is required by state law. You may also print a copy of the form once you have entered the information for your records.
